Date for Petoskey Wagon Train will be August 8-9..  It is tied to the Boyne City Auto/Flea Market which several enjoyed last year.  Also this year the Boyne Falls Polish Festival will be going on at the same time.

Air Camp 2009  After careful consideration we've decided we wouldn't be able to do a good job without more lead time for planning, therefore, we have decided to try this next year instead.

Parts Available  Many Beechcraft parts, including a Lyc O-320 & Cont. IO-520, are availble now in Owosso at RNP Aviation Services.  Call Jason at 810-444-3458

Airport News  The new runway LED lights are in.  We will start installing them on runway 18-36 right away since the wiring is already in place.  7000' of new wire is on order and we will start installation as soon as it's available.  First priority is to get the runway extension wired and lit and open on 18-36.
Existing lights on 18-36 will be replaced with LED's like the one in the picture above
Statistics  Chesaning Airport with 8338 aircraft operations per year, is listed by MDOT Aero as the 72nd busiest airport in Michigan out of 235 airports, meaning we are in the top 31% of Michigan airports, maybe we're not so unimportant after all.
